Betting at the World Championships

Give yourself a chance to win money off the coming
world champions while contributing to the sum of prize money
given in the World Open.
This is how it works:
You place any amount of money on who is going to win menīs
and/or ladieīs elite
class.
We add all money coming in to one sum. That sum is divided in two
equal halves. One half goes in to prize money the the other half
is distributed to the betters on the right winner/winners.
All betters that have guessed the right winner/winners are
guaranteed at least their money back.
To examplify:
Let's say we get 30 people to bet on the winner of the Ladies
class and that the total sum becomes 7000 SEK. That sum is
divided in two equal halves. 3500 SEK goes to prize money and
3500 SEK goes to the betters. Five betters have guessed the right
winner. Those betters have placed 500, 400, 300, 200 and 100 SEK
on that winner. We will then distribute the 3500 SEK according to
the following formulas:
Better (500) gets (3500) x ((500)/(500+400+300+200+100)) = 1167
SEK
Better (400) gets (3500) x ((400)/(500+400+300+200+100)) = 933
SEK
Better (300) gets (3500) x ((300)/(500+400+300+200+100)) = 700
SEK
Better (200) gets (3500) x ((200)/(500+400+300+200+100)) = 467
SEK
Better (100) gets (3500) x ((100)/(500+400+300+200+100)) = 233
SEK
