The International Racketlon Federation (FIR) was founded on September 15th 2002. At present it has the following 18 member states:

2003-06-06: Begium adopted, with representative Gert Peersman
2003-11-29: Germany adopted (as of 18 Sep) with representative
Irene Seifert. Greece adopted (as of early December) with
representative George Georgoudis.
2004-08-24:
Removed Sweden's representative 2 since Sweden does no longer (as
of after Belgian Open) have more than 20% of the IRF votes and is
therefore no entitled to a second representative.
Removed Michael Auchterlonie due to over a year of inactivitiy.
Which makes Stuart Foster the only English representative.
Replaced John O'Donnell with Stephane Cadieux as Canadian
representative.
Updated the e-mail addresses of Gert Peersman and Jari Utriainen
2006-01-01:
Added Poland and the Czech Republic as members of the IRF (these
countries were adopted in the summer/autumn of 2005)
Added Hungary and Holland (adopted at GM in Vienna, November
2005).
Modified the list of members of Council in accordance with
elections at London AGM, October 2005 and in accordance with
allocation of tasks at Vienna CM, November 2005.
2006-01-24:
Listed the names of the country representatives
2006-02-18:
Added the (racketlon.com) e-mail addresses of the council
Added "additional honorary owners of Racketlon.com e-mail
addresses" Katy, Keith and Rickard
2006-10-05:
Changed the acronym from IRF to FIR according to a GM decision
(see newsitem).
2006-11-12:
Added Hong Kong and Estonia (adopted by an on-line General
Meeting in the beginning of September)
2006-12-27:
Added the USA (adopted by the AGM in Vienna at the end of
November)
