English Open in London 5-6th of Ocotber!

More Racketlon History waiting to be written.

It was confirmed today that there will be a first English Open in Racketlon the first weekend of October. The venue will be London, which should provide for a good uptake of racket players. Results among English participants will be used as trials to pick the English team for Gothenburg Racketlon World Open. More details will come. Watch this space.

It has been decided that tournament start will be Saturday 09:00 and that the last match will start 13:00 on Sunday. This is all we need to book flights (given that London Stanstead - the airport used by Ryanair is less than 2 hours away from the sport center). Below are some momentary price examples aimed for Swedish players. Still very cheap but fairs get more expensive by the minute so hurry up! Go to www.ryanair.com and do your booking NOW. You have nothing to loose. The risk (pioneers love risk!) that the tournament will not take place is small and even if that happens you will get a weekend in London for a price similar to that of going by taxi back and forth to the airport(!) (I bought my ticket 5 minutes ago.)
