Winner and English Open Champion 2003: Magnus Eliasson, Sweden

Note that Nicolas Sene is national elite in both squash and badminton! But still a victim for Eliasson's physical game in both these disciplines. Sene was admittedly physically exhausted already before the final after a couple of tough games on the way there - but it is difficult not to make the reflection that Eliasson is starting to get ready for the World Championships in the beginning of November. And the question is: Will anybody really be near stopping him from winning his second consecutive World Championship title.

The English Open Elite plate final between Håkan Granberg and Stefan Engström - both from Gothenburg.
