Date: 2001-10-06

There are still a few places left in the elite classes (Ladies Open and Men Elite). Therefore we extend the deadline for Non-Swedish players that register for these classes. New deadline for non-Swedish elite players: Friday 12th October!

In addition, the old offer of participation free of charge for non-Swedish elite players that was announced a few weeks ago still holds.

What is on offer?

We can offer you to take part in what looks set to be the best racketlon competition ever played - in terms of the quality of the Elite classes. In the Mens' Elite class 9 out of 10 on the Swedish top ten list have registered:

1 Magnus Eliasson
2 Mats Källberg
3 Roland Helle
4 Peter Bittár
(5 Erik Söderberg)
6 Joakim Sandberg
7 Mika Hasmats
8 Stefan Larsson
9 Rickard Persson
10 Anders Rickan

In addition the two best Finnish racketlon players (judging from the top 4 list below from the latest Finnish Championships) have registered and will face the Swedish elite for the first time:

1 Toni Kemppinen
2 Mikko Kärkkäinen
(3 Harri Suutarinen)
(4 Jaakko Syrjänen)

But since Racketlon is still a young sport that is only now, as of this tournament, starting to spread internationally the winner might be someone different from these established names...

The Ladies Open class, as well, looks set to be of very high quality. Sweden's number 1, Lilian Druve who has won everything in Sweden - in an increasingly outstanding manner - during the last few years, will face, for the first time, Finland's number 1 Katja Aminoff. In addition there is a surprise entry from Germany...

In short, we offer you to find out if you are a top international racket player!
