Alelyckan Starts Offering Racketlon Hours

As of next Sunday (2002-03-31) Alelyckan's Sport Center ( www.alelyckanssportcenter.com ), Gothenburg, Sweden, will start offering specific "Racketlon Hours" for public reservation. An Alelyckan Racketlon Hour will consist of 20 minutes of table tennis + 20 minutes of squash + 20 minutes of badminton + 20 minutes of tennis - in that order.

An Alelyckan Racketlon Hour is especially designed for two people that wants to play a full racketlon match and the arrangement is in fact almost a precondition for this to be possible at busy hours when reservations are necessary. In practice, until now, such racketlon matches have had to take place at non-busy hours (i.e. daytime on workdays) when court access have been flexible enough. From now on it will be possible to make reservations for a racketlon match just like for a game of squash or badminton. Without having to reserve full hours in all individual sports at unreasonable cost.

This marks another racketlon world first for Alelyckan (who also hosted the first international racketlon competition in November last year). Never before at any sport center has it been possible to make reservations for a specific Racketlon Hour. Gothenburg Racketlon want to thank Alelyckan management for this opportunity to consolidate Gothenburg's position as the heart of international racketlon!

To start with six Racketlon Hours will be available for reservation on Sunday mornings during the following months. Depending on the outcome of this test period more Racketlon Hours might be offered at other times during the week.
