In the 3rd Polish racketlon National Championships held 4-5 of November 2006 Leszek Borys lost in the final to last year's silver medallist Rafal Rykowski. The third place was for Pawel Szostek - our new face in Polish Racketlon and Krzysztof Burbo. Pawel Szostek lost to Borys, but he needed only three more points in tennis - he had 18:14 result when Leszek collect the two more points necessary to win the semifinal. Pawel says that next year he'll train more and try to win the tournament.

We have also new veterans' champion - Grzegorz Sylwestrzak from Bogatynia beat Bogdan Miezynski from Szczecin (our previous champion) in the semifinal, and in the final he beat Piotr Serweryn (all of them have played in international tournaments). The new player in this category was Ryszard Flisikowski from Poznan - bronze medal for him in the 45 plus category.

In the Ladies' class Krystyna Szwajkowska (Boleslawiec) won in the final with our junior world vice-champion Magda Kaminska from Bogatynia. This year Sylwia Borek from Nowy Sacz was absent (Sylwia is the current world junior champion). The third prize was shared between Anna Przybylinska (Pabianice) and Sonia Klamczynska (Wolomin). Sonia is 8th on the Polish junior tennis list.
