Peter Landberg, the Swedish Racketlon Icon of over a decade, invites the international racketlon community to Racketlon Cup - a classic Racketlon event that has been held in Stockholm in January every year since the beginning of the Nineties and normally attracts over 100 players including the Swedish Racketlon elite.

Finns, Scots, English, Germans, French, Norwegians, Estonians and Bulgarians are equally welcome! Ryanair run extremely cheap flights for as little as £10(!!) (or 10 Euro) to Stockholm if you book your tickets early (if you do not book early the tickets might be as much as ten times as expensive...). Book your ticket at www.ryanair.com .

Here is the Swedish invitation (pdf) (note a printing mistake saying that you cannot take part in the amateurs class if you have a Swedish ranking. This is not true. If you are classified as Amateur on the Swedish ranking you are, of course, allowed to enter the Amateur event.) For a summary of the most important details in English, see below.

• Date: 3-5. January
• Non-Swedish participants are guaranteed not to enter the tournament before 20:00 on Friday night. The last match will start no later than 14:30. That means Price Ceremony at around 16:00. So you should be able to be out of the sport center by 16:30 at the latest.
• Venue: Enskede Rackethall, Stockholm

• Classes:
  Men's Open, Class 1, Amateurs, Veterans (>45), Juniors (<20)
  Ladies' Open
• Plate Tournaments: All players guaranteed at least 2 matches. Non-Swedish entrants are guaranteed at least 3.
• Official Swedish Racketlon Rules apply (including the recently introduced Gummiarm Tiebreak).
• "Feather Rules" - meaning that no badminton player can be forced to play with plastic.

• Price: SEK 390 (SEK 250 for Juniors) balls and court rental included
• Application Deadline: 16. December 2002. Non-Swedish participants apply over phone to Enskede Rackethall
