Time to Apply for the 2003 Swedish Championships

The Swedish Championships are getting closer. Payment deadline is next Wednesday 7 May. The invitation is available at www.enskederackethall.se. (Please note a printing mistake that says that you cannot be on the Swedish Ranking to take part in the amateurs class. This is incorrect. If you are classed as "Amateur" on the Swedish Ranking you are, of course, welcome in the Amateurs class!)

The Swedish Championships is the traditional peak of season for Swedish racketlonplayers. They have been arranged by Peter Landberg every year since 1990 and this year they constitute the end of a very busy period in the Racketlon World that started out with British Open (see report) three weeks ago and now continues with three very prestigeous events lined up during the coming three consecutive weekends:

10 May: King of Rackets (the yearly Belgian multi-racket tournament, see the Belgian challenge!)
16-18 May: Finnish Open (an official Racketlon Tour event)
23-25 May: The Swedish Championships (for Swedish racketletes only)
