With 5 weeks to go before the 2nd Next Generation Scottish Open Racketlon Championships it already looks as though this year's event will be bigger and better than last year. Entries don't close until noon on 26th July (over 2 weeks away) and already there are entries from Sweden, Germany, Belgium, England and Scotland. In addition, there is strong interest being expressed from 'racketletes' in both Austria and Canada.

However, a few questions remain to be answered: Will Magnus Eliasson enter and try to retain his title? Can last year's runner-up, Rickard Persson, who has already confirmed his entry, go one step further this year? Will Scottish Open rookie Henrik Häkansson prove himself on the international stage and establish himself as one of Sweden's finest exports? What new racketlon talent has Scotland discovered in the last 12 months? This is a question that can be answered now!! I can promise you the Scottish entry will be strong in both quantity and quality. Scotland is the UK's No1 racketlon nation and aims to remain so!

Anyone wishing to enter should follow the instructions on this website ……… but hurry, the limited places are filling up fast!!

** News Flash **

World Champion and World No1 Magnus Eliasson has confirmed his entry to the 2003 Scottish Open Racketlon Championships where he will be aiming to defend the title he won last year.

Magnus has been joined in the Elite draw by Steven Verbruggen (Belgium), a former international badminton player with 12 years experience in Belgium's 'King of Rackets' tournament.

In addition, the Class 1 draw has been strengthened by the inclusion of Swedes Joachim Nilsson and Niclas Larsson, fresh from their successes in the Class 1 category at the Karlskrona event.
