Eliasson Stays on Top

When the Swedish national championships in Racketlon were decided yesterday Magnus Eliasson successfully defended his title. He beat Roland Helle in the final by a clear margin of +15 points (15-21, 21-17, 21-16, 19-7).

This was Eliasson's third consecutive Swedish championship title and it is clear that he is keen to take on new international challenges as he announced his preliminary intent to take part in the Next Generation Scottish Racketlon Championships in mid August. The Scottish tournament looks set to be the first ever racketlon tournament outside Scandinavia as the game of racketlon now starts to spread internationally.
