The full results from the the local Gothenburg Racketlon Championships played in Alelyckan 26. December 2001 can now be found through the following links:

Main Tournament
Plate Tournament (for players that lost in the first round)
Timeplan (included for the convenience of those who would like to set up a similar tournament. This turned out to be a great form for a small competition with eight participants. It is a quick half day event where each player gets to play three matches.)

A few remarks (see also the news report):

- Among the participants were:
two former top international tennis players (Jan Apell - former doubles World Champion - and surprise star Christian Bergström - former Swedish Davis Cup player and twice Wimbledon quarter finalist in the beginning of the Nineties.)
one top national badminton player (Jens Wahlman - presently number six in Sweden)
one former national top squash player (Olle Benéus - number nine in Sweden not so many years ago...)

- The draw was performed as follows:

4 people were seeded (bold format in the draw) according to the following Gothenburg Ranking:

1) Jens Wahlman
2) Stefan Engström
3) Håkan Granberg
4) Jan Apell
5) Patrik Andreasson
6) Staffan Ericsson
7) Hans Mullamaa
8) Håkan M Andreasson
9) Olle Benéus
10) Magnus Gustafsson
11) Johan Linse
12) Anders Gustafsson
13) Johan Stockenberg
14) Stefan Granberg
15) Ove Pipkorn

All other positions were decided through the drawing of lots

- The results are given in the order that the sports are played, i.e. table tennis, squash, badminton and last tennis. E.g. "Jens Wahlman +28 ... 21-20, 21-9, 21-6 !" means that Jens won the table tennis set by 21-20 and squash and badminton more comfortably (Håkan is still crushed... and will probably take weeks to recover). An exclamation mark indicates that the match was interrupted since it was prematurely decided; the tennis set was never played.

- The pages are readable with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape 6. We cannot guarantee that other browsers will work. We know for a fact that it will not work at all in Netscape 4! (The blunt advice to you who only get a text list of names instead of a standard graphically laid out match schedule when you click the links above is simply: Download a modern browser!)

- All draws are designed to fit into one A4 page. But you may need to adjust your print margins (File->Page Setup in Microsoft Internet Explorer)
