In each of the documents linked from below containing the
detailed proposals the corresponding AGM decision has been recorded.

Starting Point:
The Rules document
valid before the AGM (version dated 2008-03-19): The Rules of Racketlon
Proposed Changes (click links for full proposals):
1) Squash Doubles Order: Let Them
Choose!
2) Squash Doubles Order: Independent
Matches & Relevant rankings
(only relevant if proposal 1 is not approved)
3) Squash Doubles Split (2 sets to
11)
4) Towel Breaks
5) One Point Margin to Win Set
6) Coaching
7) Receiver Side
(forehand/backhand) in Tennis; Opportunity to Switch
at 11
Proposed General Voting Procedure:
1) Precondition (rule 17.2 in the FIR statutes):
"No alteration shall be made to the Rules of Racketlon except at a
General Meeting. Any proposal embodying such alteration, or one having
a likewise effect, must be carried by a majority of two-thirds of the
votes cast. Such alterations will take effect on the 1st January of the
year following the General Meeting unless decided otherwise by the
General Meeting."
2) For some of the proposals a simple "Yes" or "No" vote might not be enough since they might contain alternative ways of implementation. In these cases the AGM will first need to decide between these alternatives "within the proposals". For these decisions simple majority votes should be appropriate.
End Point:
The Rules document
updated with those proposals - 1, 4, 6 and 7 out of the above - that
got approved at the
AGM (version dated 2009-01-01): The Rules of Racketlon
Enjoy the reading,
Hans Mullamaa
- acting FIR Rules Officer
