Here are the results from the Gothenburg Regional Championships held on Thursday 26. December:
The Gothenburg Regional Championships has prestige factor 2 - meaning about twice as much weight in the Gothenburg Ranking System as the other TOP 8 events. There is no doubt that his is the most prestigeous local Gothenburg tournament of the year. Earlier winners include:

A few notes:
- The format of the championships is according to Austrian model meaning that everyone gets to play 4 matches (minus vacancies) and the outcome is a full ranking list.
- In order for the players (and timeplan) to cope with 4 matches in a short time the first two rounds are played to 11 instead of 21. This means two serves on each hand instead of the normal 5. (As the prestige at stake increases the two final rounds are normal racketlon matches to 21). Also, since the timeplan is quite tight the matches should be interrupted as soon as they are finished - if there is a queue.

to the Championships. The top 7 of these were been seeded. The
positions of number 3-4 and 5-7 respectively were decided by the
drawing of lots.

- The matches have been numbered and in order to find out when a certain match is going to be played you need to consult the Timeplan.
