Conditions for the Team Event

The Team:
- A team will consist of three men and one lady.
- Since the team event is intended to be a competition between national teams all players should be from the same country. Any exceptions (e.g. "mixed teams"; "Rest of the World") must be explicitly approved by tournament management.
- Each team shall have one official interface towards tournament management; the Captain
- Application procedures are basically the same as those of the individual World Open tournament. See
the World Open timeplan.

The Team Match:
- A team match consists of four regular individual racketlon matches with sets to 11 instead of 21 (implying serve games of two serves instead of five): Men's first (M1) where the best man of team A plays the best man of team B; Men's second (M2) where the second best players face each other ... and one ladies' match (L).
- The team captain shall hand in the team details (i.e. who will play in each of the four matches M1, M2, M3 and L) in writing 15 minutes before match start. It will not be revealed until the details of the other team have also been handed in.
- The order of the individual matches is fixed to M3--M2--L--M1.
- The winner of the team match is not the winner of the most individual matches but the winner of the most points.
- If, after the four regular matches, the team match is still undecided the gummiarm single point tie-break is applied in the last match (i.e. the match that started last). (In theory, it is thus possible that the last match ends with two consecutive gummiarm tie-breaks; one to decide the individual match and another to decide the team match.)
- A walk over in an individual match counts as 21-0, 21-0, 21-0, 21-0. If an individual match is interrupted by one of the players the points gathered before the interruption still count and all remaining points go to the opponent. (E.g. if player A is forced to interrupt a match due to injury after winning the table tennis and when leading 15-13 in squash the result will look something like 21-19, 15-21, 0-21, 0-21.)

Other Conditions

General:
- Please, show respect for our time schedule! Walk Over will occur after only 5 minutes! Only five minutes break between sets + 2 minutes of warming up on court!
- Get your match cards at the desk before each game. And give it back after you have filled in the result.
- Balls (including shuttlecocks) are included in the participation fee.
- At the end of a group play, if players cannot be separated based on the number of victories in the group, the result in the individual match between them will decide. If this is not enough, points will be counted - from the matches between the players involved. If this is not enough, lots will be drawn.

Categories:
- Ladies Elite, Ladies Amateurs (Beginners), Men Elite, Men Class 1, Men Amateurs (Beginners), Men Juniors (under 20 years of age), Men Old Boys (45 or older)
- National Team event (three men, one lady; see above)
- The Official IRF Racketlon World Ranking and the Official Swedish Racketlon Ranking will both be used as a guideline to decide the allocation of players onto class. This means that a player that appears in a certain class in any of the two rankings will normally not be allowed to take part in a lower class but he will be allowed to challenge the players in a higher class. Tournament management reserves the right, however, to make exceptions from this general rule.

Plate Tournaments:
- Non-Swedish participants are guaranteed at least 3 matches. Swedish participants are guaranteed at least 2. In order to fulfill these guarantees plate tournaments will be arranged.
- In the Mens' Elite Class, Class 1 and Amateur Class everyone who looses their first match can choose to take part in a plate tournament that will run parallelly to the ordinary tournament. But you need to register for it.
- Non-Swedish players who get knocked out in the second round (e.g. the first round of the plate) can choose to register for the "International Plate".
